» Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services

Every spring, more than 150 VCU students spend the week of spring break travelling to complete acts of service in communities around the U.S. and abroad. In March of 2008, ASB trips consisted of 10 teams of 12 students who spent 40 hours working, resulting in approximately 4,800 hours of community service. Students received funding for projects from the Student Government Association, as well as from fundraising on the part of the organization.

In 2008, ASB trips included: New York City; Atlanta; Kissammee, Fla.; Willow River, Minn.; Mayville, Mich.; Scottsville, Ky.; Phenix City, Ala.; New Orleans; Sabine Pass, Texas; and San Ramon, Costa Rica.
